Jackson Planning worked from the first principles of providing a new crematorium for West Sussex, working with specialists on need, and a team of architects, landscape designers, engineers to develop a proposal.   This included reviewing alternative sites including opposing a rival planning application.  Following a committee overturn when the application was refused on highway grounds, with no supporting evidence, Jackson Planning went on to prepare and submit the planning appeal which was allowed in 2020 alongside a cost claim award as the Council did not substantiate the highway reason for refusal.  The Crematorium is now open and conducting services, providing a valuable community facility in the area.
